Creating and marketing to the UK audience

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) regulates all medicines and medical products in the UK. I effectively created, delivered, and managed impactful visual and written communications for various audiences daily, helping to grow and firmly establish the MHRA's brand as a trusted authority in regulation.

Campaign work for the MHRA’s Innovation Office

The Innovation Office, MHRA’s support centre for organisations developing innovative medicines, medical devices, and manufacturing processes, benefited from my expertise in the design of its communications.

I used this opportunity to enhance the wider branding of the Agency by introducing fresh illustrations for this campaign.

Communicating ‘Risks in Hormone Replacement Therapy’

This crucial information about the increased risks of breast cancer following HRT needed to be communicated effectively to patients and healthcare professionals. I aimed to deliver this message in a way that would stand out yet be easy to digest on social media.

I created a range of female characters to engage the audience while keeping the focus on treatment risks.

Communicating the first COVID-19 vaccine approval

An unprecedented task and a major milestone during the pandemic—I eagerly led the visuals for this.

The COVID-19 assets had to be easily recognisable and distinct from the rest of the MHRA’s communications.

Ongoing work during the pandemic

Asset creation for COVID-19 continued rapidly for months after the initial vaccine announcement. My visuals led government and healthcare communications, guiding the public effectively.
